WHO

JOHN DEER

More than 20 years ago Mr Deer, after being living in Jamaica and studying and working as a designer in the United States, decided to start using his own forces to make his dream come true: contributing to the empowerment of Jamaican identity through:

  • knowledge  of the past,

  • awareness of the present

  • and  positive building of a shared vision of  future thanks to the appreciation of human artistic sensibility.

Since 20 years Mr Deer – an original rastafari -  is committed to research, restore, offer to the public contemplation and protect in an ecological ambience hundreds of objects both from Jamaica and the rest of the world, witnessing the contribution and influences that brought our nation to its contemporaneity.
